Gold plated
A very thin layer of gold (often less than 0.5 microns) is electroplated onto a metal surface. It is inexpensive but typically fades within a year.
Gold vermeil
A base of 925 silver plated with a layer of gold at least 2.5 microns thick (typically 10K or higher). It retains its color for at least two years.
Gold-filled
A thick layer of gold (comprising at least 1/20 of the total weight) is bonded to a base metal such as brass, ensuring it retains its color for 3-5 years.

What is your MOQ? If I just want to test the market first, can I order a small quantity?
We understand that new customers need to test market demand. The MOQ for standard styles is 30 pieces, while the MOQ for custom orders is 5 pieces. If you are a startup brand or working with us for the first time, we offer “sample orders” or “small-batch trial orders,” which support mixed orders, helping you launch your market testing at a low cost.Of course! We have a professional design team that can bring your ideas to life.
What materials and manufacturing processes are included in this price? Does the price vary depending on the MOQ?
Our tiered pricing structure is very flexible. Typically, the minimum order quantity is 50 pieces for silver jewelry, 100 pieces for copper jewelry, and 200 pieces for stainless steel jewelry. The larger the order quantity, the lower the price per unit.
I noticed that your descriptions mention “Gold Plated,” “Gold Vermeil,” and “Gold Filled.” To be honest, I'm a bit confused about the differences. Could you briefly explain what sets them apart? Which one would be best for me to wear as everyday jewelry?
Sure. Simply put, the difference lies in the thickness of the gold layer:
- Gold Plated: This typically refers to a thin layer of gold (usually 0.5–2.5 microns thick) applied to a copper or silver base via electroplating. It’s suitable for fast-fashion, budget-friendly styles.
- Gold Vermeil: This is a technical term referring to a gold-plated layer with a thickness of at least 2.5 micrometers. It combines the skin-friendly properties of silver with excellent color retention.
- Gold-Filled: This involves mechanically pressing a layer of gold (typically containing at least 5% gold by weight) onto a copper or other base material using high temperature and pressure. The gold layer is significantly thicker (tens of times thicker) than in gold plating and is extremely durable.
If you are looking for value for money, Vermeil is a good choice; if you want products that last longer on the end customer and have lower return rates, Gold Filled is the better option.
What makes your gold-plating process special, and how long does the finish last?
- Plating Thickness: We can customize the thickness according to your needs. For standard gold plating, we achieve a thickness of 0.001–1 micrometers or more, while for gold vermeil, we strictly maintain a thickness of 2.5 micrometers.
- Base Plating Process: We use a multi-layer electroplating process to ensure exceptional adhesion of the gold layer.
- Durability: Under normal wear (avoiding contact with chemicals and removing the jewelry before showering), our gold-plated items retain their color for 6 months to 1 year, while gold vermeil and gold-filled items can retain their color for 1 to 3 years or even longer. As for gold-filled, it is nearly as durable as solid gold.
I have a sketch or a reference image, but no 3D file. Can you help me create a custom piece based on this?
Absolutely. Our team specializes in “custom jewelry based on provided images.” All you need to do is provide a clear photo or hand-drawn sketch, and our design team will create a detailed jewelry design drawing and 3D rendering for you. We’ll only proceed to production once you’re completely satisfied, ensuring the final product matches your vision exactly.
What are your quality control standards? For large-volume orders, how do you ensure consistent quality across every batch?
We strictly adhere to a “100% inspection” policy rather than “sampling inspection.” Every product must undergo five quality control steps before leaving the factory: stone placement inspection, weld strength testing, plating finish inspection, surface polishing, and functional testing. For mass production, we retain the first-piece confirmation sample, and all subsequent batches are produced against this standard.
I’m in a hurry. How soon can I expect to receive my order after placing it? What happens if there’s a delay in delivery?
Custom orders typically take 12–18 days to complete after CAD approval (depending on the complexity of the manufacturing process). We operate our own factory and do not rely on subcontractors, which allows us to strictly control our production schedule. If a delivery delay occurs due to reasons on our part, we will cover the corresponding expedited shipping costs or provide compensation as stipulated in the contract.
My design drawings are my trade secret. If I send them to you, how can I be sure my designs won’t be leaked or sold to others?
This is the primary concern of our B2B clients. We respect the intellectual property rights of every client. We can sign a legally binding non-disclosure agreement with you. For exclusive custom designs, we promise never to show or sell the same design to any third party, and we will strictly protect your design copyright.
This is our first time working together. What payment methods do you accept? How are shipping costs calculated?
We accept payments via PayPal and XT. For first-time orders, we typically require a 50% deposit upfront, with the balance due before shipment (excluding samples). Regarding logistics, we offer flexible options: you may use your own freight forwarder account, or we can arrange shipping via DHL on your behalf and negotiate preferential rates, providing all tracking information after shipment.
